Advertising and measurement

This page explains what we share with advertising platforms when you buy from us, and how to opt out. It sits alongside our privacy policy and our privacy choices page rather than replacing them.

What we share with Google

When you place an order, we share a limited set of data with Google so we can measure which advertisements led to a purchase. That data is your email address and phone number in hashed form, together with the order number and the order total. Hashing turns those values into an irreversible code before they leave our systems, so Google receives a match key and not your contact details.

Google acts as our service provider for this measurement and processes the data under the Google Ads Data Processing Terms. We use it only to attribute purchases to advertisements and to decide where to spend our advertising budget. We do not use it to identify you on other websites, and we do not sell it.

How to opt out

The opt-out choices on our Your Privacy Choices page apply to this sharing as well, including the Global Privacy Control signal if your browser sends one. You can also turn off personalised Google advertising in Google's own ad settings.

To ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, use the contact details in our privacy policy.
